<p>guys… Bill Powers just called me and told me that he’s refunding my $60 because of how hard his admissions committee got to laugh at my application and that I should probably not even be allowed to continue living.</p>

<p>idk2016 - no, you didn’t call. that’s not how UT admissions works; they do not wait until May to let people know they’ve been CAPed. </p>
<p>everyone, I know this sucks hard but try not to let posts like idk’s psych you out. I go to school in the Austin area and rumors about admissions have been flying back and forth like mad these past few days. some of them are really ridiculous so if you don’t hear back soon, don’t stress! if your status doesn’t say you’ve been rejected, then you haven’t been rejected. good luck y’all!</p>

<p>@natalie 9494, in all seriousness i’m 99% sure everyone will hear sometime tonight. i called an official admissions officer (mr. talamantes) and he explicitly stated that EVERYONE would hear sometime tonight after 5PM.</p>

<p>A majority of us will be getting rejected…sighhh…ut gets 80% of the undergrad admissions from the top ten % rule, then the other 20% are reserved for Alumni kids/ home school kids/ people that transfer…So effing nervous</p>
