Admit rate at Brown-class of 2010

<p>Does anyone know what percentage of applicants were admitted to Brown? I heard a crazy rumor that it was under 10% this year. Is that possible? What about other ivies?</p>

<p>Brown's will probably be about 13%. Wait till Monday. There ought to be a BDH article on it.</p>

<p>When I did the math, it came out to 8%. Since over 18,000 students applied and 1450 (I think) were admitted.</p>

<p>About 1450 will matriculate. Many more were admitted.</p>

<p>It says it was 13.8% this year, down from 14.6% of last year.</p>
