Admitted but no scholarship?

was also admitted… to biomedical engineering in viterbi. i am stoked to have been accepted–usc is definitely one of my top choices–it is going to be difficult to make it happen since i wasn’t invited to interview for the trustee or presidential, but if i can find a way i’ll be there. yay!

If my USConnect page does not show those extra boxes as of now (near 11:00 AM here in Northern California), is it a safe bet that I wasn’t accepted in this wave?

Are people from this new “wave” getting the additional boxes on USConnect as well?

Seems like it, but the only dates they’re getting are for May

Ehh, I guess I’ll have to stick it out until March, when I’m hoping to get the NMF Presidential scholarship. Unless a package comes in the mail today, although I highly doubt it, since I’m in CA and I don’t have the RSVP link and what not.

I got my acceptance too… I was invited to experience USC but no scholarship info… Very confused

My S got his acceptance yesterday and more boxes today. Letter said it would take 7 days to show up, but only took 1

Thankyou4flying, same situation here. If nothing comes today, I’ll set my sights on March. Still excited though!

Just got acceptance package (Florida) no scholarship info included.
YAY!! I was getting worried.

i got the same thing too.

im confused as to why we got our acceptances now and we arent invited for the weekends.

has anyone who has been accepted gotten a no scholarship letter?

Hey, I’m in the same situation! I got my acceptance letter today, but it didn’t have anything about scholarship information. If I had to guess, I’d say this means we are in the running for the smaller scholarships, but not the Trustees/Presidential. Still, I’m not sure why we got out acceptances this early. It’d be nice if they would have said in our packets that we’re not in the running for Trustees/Presidential.

anyone get anything on the east coast?

I’m in the midwest and I got neither the admittance packet or the letter. We did have a huge snowstorm yesterday though, so the mail might be delayed.

I posted this on the other thread but here it is again:
I just received an admission package today on the east coast and my USConnect now shows the extra boxes! It was postmarked 1/27 and no mention of a scholarship. I was admitted into CLAS.

<sdmom: so=“” does=“” anyone=“” think=“” that=“” not=“” filling=“” out=“” a=“” fafsa=“” for=“” merit=“” aid=“” is=“” going=“” to=“” effect=“” scholarship?=“”></sdmom:>

Our GC said one need NOT submit the FAFSA stuff for merit-based.

We did not submit any FAFSA for the merit aid that S received from USC. I did call the school in 2006 and at the time, they said no need for FAFSA if we only want & qualify for merit aid. It’s always fine to call USC & double-check, just in case things have chancged since 2006.

^It was the same last year as well!

i was accepted to USC but not chosen to interview for the T/P. my Explore USC dates are april 7, 11, 14, 18, 21.

Hey guys, try not to worry too much! I got my acceptance on Saturday (it was postmarked 1/27), and I too was disappointed to not see any information about the P/T scholarships. However, this afternoon, a separate letter came, and told me I’d been considered for the Dean’s scholarship! I’m super excited as I wasn’t expecting to hear anything until March!

I’m in the same boat as everyone here. I got the acceptance letter a week ago without a scholarship letter. I did, however, get a letter for a Bacc/MD interview. I am a NMSF.

Does this mean I am not considered for Pres or Trustee?
