Admitted Student But Unsure

I was accepted to UF but had an extremely low SAT but I have a 4.1 GPA. Are the classes at UF extremely difficult where I could feel out of place in the classroom and fall behind? I also got into Penn State but meet their average scores so I'm considering a safer option.

You’ll be fine. Go to class, take notes, study, and you’ll do great.

The admissions office would never admit anyone who they didn’t think was capable of the work.

Just because it says you are ready on paper doesnt mean you are ready in actuality.^^

Half of being successful in anything is having good work ethic.

Believe in yourself. You obviously had something great about you to get in, so take advantage. As ryan said, good work ethic is everything. Have it and you’ll be just fine. “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

What school do you feel a better fit, putting the class difficulty issue aside? That is where you should go.
There are many people who did not get in as freshman, go to Santa Fe ect, and transfer in. Do you think all those people had better HS grades or scores? Prob not…that is why they did not get in originally.

I have the same fear myself, but I love the UF campus and the students I have met there.
I feel that I am a Gator.

I’ve always wanted to go to UF. Being from NJ it would be pretty rare which is cool. My father attended UF so its been my dream school. But Penn State also seems like a good fit only because I feel like those students are academically the same as me
