Does anyone know if UMN has them? We had kind of a lackluster tour a couple weeks ago and really want a redo, but not just the same spiel we just went through. I thought an admitted student day would be more personalized but I’m not finding any mention of them in their website.
Other suggestions? Just show up on our own and wander around? We’d really like to see the science and engineering buildings and peek at the labs. The CSE visit only took us through the library lobby!
Not CSE, but we were able to get an individualized visit by talking to the college-specific admissions counselor and it was extremely helpful to S20. I’d either have him contact the CSE admissions counselor or call the Visitline and ask if he could speak with a current student or professor, see a lab, sit in on a class, or something.

@myrna97 - Thank you! I will have him contact them. Sitting in on a class would be awesome. He really has no feel for the department at all while at other schools he’s seen so much and already has spoken one on one with professors and other students in the major.
