I’m an international student. Am I right to doubt that they’ll pay my airfare for this?

As an international student, I have that doubt too. Can anyone call Amherst and verify this asap so we can plan for a sponsored trip there, if possible!

D went and they made the reservations, picked her up, etc. She loved it! In fact, this is what made up her mind to attend Amherst. She just graduated and loved her 4 years there!

My mom is calling about my ticket tomorrow, even though I STILL haven’t gotten my financial package yet. YAY!

@sptch: Do you remember if she was the only one who was picked up from the airport at that time or were there other students waiting to be taken to campus?

I got my travel info today! Very short flight (only about 3 hours not including an hour layover each way) and I am very excited to go!

what time does your itenarary say you are ariving spiritual witch?

I am arriving at 2:05pm on Saturday. I really am hoping other people arrive at the same time as me otherwise I would feel lonely.

i’m arriving around 2:50 :3
i decided to go ahead and go to the open house instead of prom…i did prom last year anyways :]

thats awesome yos!
i thought i was arriving too early but im actually going to arrive later…@ 4:20ish pm i think…

so, an amherst group of people will be there across all this span of time? i’m sure others will arrive waay after me or waay before me…or are we going to wait for everybody and then leave to amherst?

My mom said that they will be running a shuttle service continually and so shuttles will be leaving the airport at several different times throughout the day. This is what the person said when my mom called to make my flight reservations.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the itinerary we got in the email (about the flight information) is our ticket or if we are going to get a physical in the snail mail ticket.

when i did my visit for kenyon college, i’m pretty sure just brought the itinerary and showed my name/id…i didn’t have an actual ticket, i think it was an “e-ticket” and they gave me a boarding pass at check-in.

To spiritualwitch: When I called to arrange my trip, they said that the e-mail is considered an “e-ticket”, and we aren’t getting a ticket in the mail.

can we print our boarding pass a day before? I am going on American airlines and I didnt realize that option was open until today…

Yes, you can print your boarding pass at home 24 hours before your flight.

There were other students, as well. They were picked up by van. However, D’s flight was delayed and they rerouted her, and the van had already left, so the adcoms drove the airport and picked her up personally.

I’ll be arriving at Bradley around noon. I think it would be hilarious if we wore name badges with our CC SNs on them. XD

Is anyone arriving after 5 from the west coast?

@xxCiaraxMist: I think we shoud. Otherwise it might get awkward trying to find out who is who and who we might actually somewhat know from here. Not everyone has a CC account!
