@slt123 @ericakalberer Write a letter to the school stating your interest in attending. Tell them that you will attend for sure if they accept you. Talk about how it’s your dream school… blah blah blah. If you have any extenuating circumstances for some bad grades, write a separate letter about that situation and how you overcame it and how you will prosper at UMN.
That was when I checked after a little while, but they probably sent their decision sometime shortly before Christmas. Sorry to mislead you

Guys, I just got a scholarship notification via email for the Maroon Global Excellence Scholarship. I think they might be sending out notifications in this month.
Yup, I have been admitted to the College of Science and Engineering and got a scholarship notification as well. So i think they’re sending out the international scholarship notifications this month.
I’m still waiting to receive my decision haha
@TrickshotSniper where are you from?
Im from Mumbai, India @pallavijaniani

CSE - Biomed. Engineering
Does anyone know if it is very difficult to get into the Honors College and if I have chances at any scholarships? Thanks and good luck to everyone else!
Congratulations, @inglebert!
Your ACT score will certainly help your chances of getting into honors, especially if you have a high GPA and class rank to match. I think being in the top 10% of your class is key to getting an in-state tuition scholarship, and I believe it’s also possible to receive half of the delta between OOS and IS tuition, even if you’re not in the top 10%.
ACCEPTED!

BTW do international students get mail as well? Also when do scholarship and honors college decisions mailed?
@TrickshotSniper How long did it take you to get the scholarship decision after you got accepted?
@pranjal26 Well the email i received says that the acceptance packet is on the way to me in the mail. And i’ve heard that scholarship decisions are usually sent 1-4 weeks within acceptance, mostly.
@pranjal26 I received my acceptance in early October and my scholarships came early December
Thanks! @pallavijaniani @GoPack87
Yup I scholarship roughly 2 weeks after i got accepted @pranjal26
Also I got my scholarship package in the mail before my admissions package. Weird…
Has anyone received honors acceptance or scholarship info from CEHD?
Did you have to fill out that scholarship form before receiving scholarships?
I thought you were reviewed for scholarships as part of your application to the University? What form are you referring to? We are OOS.
