Can someone help me understand id University of Minnesota going to be a Rolling admission this year of they have moved away from Rolling admission. There wesbsite says
" Students who submit their complete applications by the November 1 Early Action I Deadline will receive an admission decision of admit, defer, or deny in Application Tracker by January 31. "
My S24 applied in early August and received his admission decision on the portal yesterday. So it does appear to be rolling.

Already accepted into ASU and Uni of AZ.
My daughter applied on 9/18 and got her acceptance today. Direct admit to Carlson. Now we wait for the others.
Did anyone have issues with formatting in the Golden Gopher app? Essays with multiple paragraphs are showing up as a single paragraph. Would appreciate any pointers on how to fix the formatting. Thank you.
We just added blank lines between paragraph. It is just a text box with no formatting. Very frustrating
Son getting ready to apply. OOS. Homeschooler. Want SAT test scores considered. Can’t determine if he needs to send official scores or self reported? He’s seeing conflicting info.
Thanks
If he’s applying using the Golden Gopher application, he can self-report SAT scores there. Unfortunately, I don’t know about applying to UMN-TC using Common App.
@Aafat Did your daughter get any merit aid with her offer? Or does merit money only come after National Merit Scholar Semi Finalist deadline?
Surprisingly , It did not. I am still waiting for some communication related to merit aid. All other schools she applied gave her decent scholarship ( ASU and Uni of AZ).
I just checked their website. It says “Scholarship award notices will be sent to new freshman scholarship recipients by the end of March of their senior year of high school.”
My S24 just got his portal link today and it shows that grades and scores, both of which he reported in the CommonApp, are missing. The portal says he can link to his SRAR (which he completed for other schools) but says that if he submitted via the CommonApp to NOT link to the SRAR but instead to call the admissions office. A grace period until 11/8 for EA has been granted.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a way to fix this without having to call the office?
EDIT: He got another email from Minn saying that the reason the grades/scores weren’t showing up in his profile was because the Common App and SRAR use different formats. So he could either import the grades from the Common App into the SRAR, or, if he already had a SRAR profile (which he does) to just link that to Minn. Which he did. So the time taken to enter his grades into the Common App specifically for Minn was a complete waste of time.
Merit aid notification is only sent via postal mail. It won’t show up in the portal and separate from admission decision.
