admitted students day

in some ways i'm sorry we attended admitted students day because i fell in love with w&m. i loved the campus, the surrounding town, the faculty and prospective students we met, etc.. my daughter also really liked w&m but not as much as two of the other colleges to which she was accepted . if we hadn't visited i wouldn't be as disappointed at her apparent decision not to attend.

I was very impressed with the open house, the staff and most importantly, the students. Everything was perfect (although it was a little chilly). Congratulations to the WM admissions staff if they are checking in on this forum.

So what school does she like better?

dartmouth and brown.

the good VA weather.... what was it saturday? 50s? It's going to be close to 90 tomorrow. =/ (no AC in my room... blah)

I actually overheard a student in a class talking to a professor about how she transfered from Brown to W&M...

at 9-10am most weekends, the campus is quite quiet normally =P

That's a tough one. Being instate sure makes W & M a sweet deal. How are the financial packages at the other too? If the money is anywhwere close to the anticipated increases at W &M it would be very difficult to turn down Brown. I feel for you.

best financial package from dartmouth. packages from brown and w&m result in very similar out of pocket expense for me.
