admitted with a D?! automatic denial??

<p>alright so here is my issue lol</p>

<p>i got a D this past fall semester, BUT with my D my gpa is still up with the admitted average. i am retaking the D, and i am sure it will be an easy A next semester.</p>

<p>i really dont want to hear about how stupid u think i am for getting a D, i just want to know if you guys have ever known anyone who has been admitted with a D or if you think this will heavily affect my admission. the class i got a D in was not one of my pre-req classes btw. </p>

<p>my main interest is UCLA btw. happy new yr everyone!</p>

<p>I am not kidding in my response. A friend of my friend’s friend got into UCLA with an F in a course that was not a major pre-req. His gpa was above the admitted average for his major. The fact that its not a major pre-req and you are retaking it means you still have a shot.</p>

<p>yea u still have a shot, itll look bad, but if ur gpa is still competitive and you have good essays, u could still get in</p>
