I’m interested in Binghamton, especially the scholars program, and I think I have a decent shot. My Common App essay is pretty much done, but I’d like to spend longer polishing it, etc, (ideally longer than the Nov 1st EA deadline). Are people applying EA more likely to get into the scholars program? Are there any other advantages?
I dont think that people applying EA are more likely to get into the program. I think the only advantage is that you get to know sooner which if this is where you want to go, you should do early action you’ll know by janurary some people even hear from them by december instead of by april and if you get deferred they will look at you again in the spring so thats another advantage!
