how early for EA?

<p>so my first choice school is SUNY Binghamton. its perfect for me. if they would allow it, I would do ED. But, alas, they don't so i'll have to deal and go with EA. The SUNY application comes out august 1st.</p>

<p>my stats are just a little below Binghamtons. I have an 89 average, as i slacked off as an underclassman, and i got a 1910 on the SAT. i havent taken the act according to the practice tests which i time, i will get a 29 or 30.</p>

<p>so my question is since UB is rolling, should i apply asap(early september) or should i retake the sat or ACTs and apply early november?</p>

<p>well, either way you would be applying EA... so I don't understand your concern. But I would recommend taking the ACT. And definitely do NOT slack off senior year. Your GPA is a tad low for Binghamton, but if you apply EA with EC's, recommendations, and an essay to bump you up, you have a chance. </p>

<p>If it's your first choice, apply EA - no doubt about that.</p>
