<p>I was wondering if there is advantage to taking the SAT in October vs in November, for early action, assuming that colleges accepted + considered both dates.</p>
<p>Here's my rationale:</p>
<p>The deadline for EA is Nov 1. This means that colleges begin looking at applications around Early November. If you had taken the SAT's by October, they would be with your app by this time (and thus colleges would have ample time to look and process your complete application).</p>
<p>However, if you took the SAT's in November, they would arrive at colleges around early December- thus having less time for consideration.</p>
<p>My belief is that more time, and being earlier in the Early Application pool would help your application...</p>
<p>Please let me know your thoughts! The reason I want to switch from the Oct to Nov SAT is so I would have more time to study...</p>
