Advice about Senior Class Schedule! ASAP.

Hi to all. I'm new to this forum. I'm looking for some really good advice here. Please leave comments. All is helpful in my eyes. So here it goes.

I'm a senior. I have a 4.0GPA. Up to this point in time, I've taken the hardest classes in my high school. I want to apply (and hopefully get accepted) to the top colleges in the nation including the Ivy Leagues. Also, I want to major in Political Science

Currently, for my senior year, this is my schedule:
1st-Art (required for graduation)
2nd- AP English IV
3rd- Directed Studies
4th- AP Physics B ***MY QUESTION PERTAINS TO AP PHYSICS B
5th- AH Spanish IV
6th- AP Calculus BC
7th- AP Government

To be honest, I still need to study and take my ACT and two SAT Subject Tests. I am thinking about dropping the AP Physics B in order to have more time. If I drop, do you think I will still be Ivy League material?

SO... should I drop AP Physics B and have another Directed Studies? Or keep it?

I really need some advice.

Thank you!

I mean I’d hope you are always taking the most difficult classes as would they but I don’t think it would be too strong of a factor against you.

I think you should keep AP Physics B and try to balance your time as effeciently as possible. But it also depends on how much time you plan to devote to your standardized test studying. Furthermore, how much time will you have for studying in regards to your extracirricular activities. Scratch that, you should drop ap physics b if and ONLY if you plan on devoting all the extra time to hardcore test studying(which matters way more) and to writing outstanding essays. On the plus side, the higher standardized test scores you get the more likely you will be accepted and awarded scholarship money for colleges. Good Luck :)
