Advice, advice, advice! Help!

Okay so here's my story.

I'm going off to a school that is 5 hours away from home.
I just need some advice to how to adjust to being in a totally different place.

Oh and just general advice about college in a whole would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Go in with an open mind, keep in regular touch with the people you love, that’s about it. Everyone’s different so there’s no real set advice for adjusting to being in a new place.

Is that 5 hours of driving or flying? If the former that’s really not bad.

5 hours driving…

Basically, what DCHurricane said. I’m assuming that you like the college you plan to attend, so focus on the things you’re excited about. Odds are that even if most of the other students are from relatively nearby, they probably won’t know the college town very well at all, so you’ll have the chance to explore it together.
