Advice for a soon to be senior

Hello all,
I am currently a Junior Philosophy Major/Middle Eastern Studies Minor at UCLA. I am planning on taking the LSAT in November of 2020 and hopefully plan on going to a top 20 LS after I graduate next Spring(2021). As of now I have around a 3.72 GPA and am taking a summer LSAT prep class with blueprint. If anyone who has gone through the admissions process or is currently going through it has any advice for how I can better my chances of getting into a top 20 school it would be greatly appreciated. I feel like at this point in my academic career I am a bit lost and am not sure what exactly I should be focussing on when it comes to the Law School admissions process. Thank you!

Im in the same boat. Though my stats are significantly lower. Im a physics major at the College of William & Mary with a 2.92 GPA. I’ll be taking the GRE this August instead of the LSAT due to financial constraints. It might be a bit silly to think about but I will be applying to the top 20 LS this upcoming fall.

Sorry I couldn’t give you any info. I just wanted to post because we both want to go to LS.

Absent a hook (URM, Olympic athlete), the vast majority of law schools care only about two numbers: GPA & LSAT.

If both numbers are above the law school’s 75th percentiles, you are have a 85+% chance of acceptance with merit money (absent being a convicted felon).

Hillary: if you apply after you graduate, you can raise your GPA with one more semester’s worth of grades. Run the math assuming all A’s.

A sub 3.0 will need a high test score, i.e. 168+ (or GRE equivalent) for a ~50% chance at Minnesota or WashU.
