Chance me

Im currently at a major cross-roads in my life, but Im open to careers choices.

College of William & Mary
Major: Physics
GPA: 2.92
LSAT: will not be taking
GRE: This August
other notes: Im a first-gen student, gone through financial hardships (but can still go to grad school with student loans by my side)

Where do I stand in the law world? Do I have a chance? Which schools would you apply to?

Thanks for your time.

Year: Incoming Senior

Your GPA will eliminate you from probably the top 25 law schools even if you kill it on the GRE

@scoop85

Thanks for your honesty. I figured it would be that way. Though, if I decide on applying, I will send at least 2 applications to the top 15 LS due to a solid reason Ill be addressing in my personal statement/addendum.

Certainly there would be exceptions to the hard numbers, and a clarifying personal statement can surely help. Best of luck!

There are law schools that will accept you, but you’d need to do a lot of research and cast a wide net. You’ll need to ace the LSAT and come in strong with your personal statement. Sure it’s possible.
