Advice for a student applying to Kelley?

I think the lack of freshman in the enrollment statistics may be a bit of self-selection. There are still seats for this Spring in an ECON-E 370 lecture and multiple STAT-K 310 sections. One of the K 310 lectures still has 52 seats available.

Looks good Hkem! I checked some past semesters and they still had availability; like you said, no freshmen probably wanted to sign up.

So either path, K310 or E370 will work, with the K310 being easier with K310 an easier class than E370 and K310 requiring only two summer classes ([M119 equivalent for K310] and [W131 equivalent for C204]) prior to IU.

–one requirement necessary to enroll in C204 is that you must have taken two semesters prior to that class, so second semester of freshman year, it is not possible.–

Wow. That is a new rule (wasn’t in the last year’s Kelley bulletin, but is in this year’s). A lot of people used to take them both in freshman year before.

Probably best, then, to take W131 and C104 at IUB or X201 and X202 at IUB instead of C104 and C204 in back-to-back semesters at IUB. That would probably be less risky than two math classes.

One last question for you guys, I know I am kind of high maintenance here.
So if I take M119 W131 and e201 before, will i have to take finite during my freshman year or can I defer it for after freshman year and do it during the summer?

Hello
I have a question
Rn im a freshman at IU and i have some concerns applying to Kelley
This fall semester i did really well, took all non business related courses, but i ended up with 1 A 2 B’s and 1 C+ in biology and i have a W on M211

Im trying to apply to kelley after spring semester
Im about to take 16 credits
These r the classes

Econ201
K201
M118
C104
T175
W131

Is that too much for spring semester?

And will i be able to get into kelley if i do really well second semester and have the C+ and the W?

Im really worried right now and stressed out

or should i divide them up and apply for spring sopohmore year
