so i was wondering what exactly a rising junior should do over the summer – i was considering applying for columbia’s college edge program, which is 6 weeks of classes and offers college credits, but i was wondering if this would actually look good considering that precollege programs can be kind of iffy like that. does anyone know anything about this program? other than that, i was also thinking of doing an internship at a local small bookshop (or at the MET?) which of these sounds most advisable, if any of them?
can i bump my own post ahaha?
@throwaway6765362 I would be wary of taking college courses as a rising junior. Those grades will follow you even until grad school applications. Either the bookshop or the MET internship are fine. Try to find something that is related to your interests.
