Advice in Preparing for Grad School

Hello all!
I am a third year architecture student at Texas A&M University and I am starting to consider graduate schools to apply for and start the whole process. I know of a few schools that I would like to apply to but I don't feel like I know enough about all of the different programs that are offered outside of the state of Texas! I have already decided that I am going to apply to Rice, University of Texas, Texas A&M and University of Houston but I don't know anything about any universities outside of Texas. Would anyone like to share with me any knowledge you think might aid me in my decision?

Also, of course, I have started gathering together my portfolio. I would like to get some honest feedback on it and would love to get the chance to look at some of yall's portfolios who have already been accepted into grad school!

Thanks :)

Rather than simply listing every single M.Arch program outside Texas, perhaps the easier way to go about this is to know what you’re interested in. What type of design pedagogy would you like? Preferences on location?

I’d be happy to check out your portfolio, and you should also consider posting on archinect. There are plenty of current M.Arch apps’ portfolios floating around right now, considering that it’s crunch time for them.
