For prompt 1, I was considering writing about living a rather comfortable, sheltered life and wanting to expand my horizons (I'd elaborate on how and when I realized my life was sheltered, how I began to break away from that, and how I plan to continue changing).
And for prompt 2, I was considering writing about conquering my stuttering speech disorder, how it affected me, made me proud, etc.

Anyway, I was just wondering if they were too general/ vague (especially the first one)

Another question I had was if it would be terribly insincere or odd to the reader if my personal statements kind of contradicted each other. For example, if I wrote something along the lines of "My youth was not marked by much difficulty..." in prompt 1, and then stated how hard it was to "deal with stuttering for so many years" would that put the reader off? (What I really wanted to imply was that my life was not affected by financial or family type situations.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I know all of this sounds super rough and draft-like (which it is), just know that my final drafts will be much more detailed :)
