I took the SAT II US History last year, after taking the AP Exam. I got a 5 on AP, and a 780 on SAT II. What I would suggest is going through and learning all the presidents in order and important people/events that go with them. If you remember everything with the president, it's much easier for some reason. Also, memorize the terms of each president and which party he was affiliated with, and if there was anything special with the election. It doesn't take that long and it helps a lot with both dates and party politics. Then, after you've done that, go through and remember the colonial period of America when there weren't any presidents. That's what I did, and it seemed to work out pretty well. Knowing presidents and parties helps a lot. So, learn everything in groups!!!!

THe US history SAT II exam is a load of baloney after you have taken the AP USH exam. If you study periods of time and the specific pattern of economic, social and political change, the USH test becomes a test of logic and reasoning. Plus, the curve on the exam is very generous; you can get like 20 wrong and still get a 700, so just don't worry, don't be afraid to guess and everything will go hunkydory.

Wow, excellent advice ! Thanks u guys so much !
