Advice Please!

I'm going to be a junior this year, and I'm planning on going to med school one day.
JHU is my #1 choice university, but I'm not sure if I have good enough extracurrics/test scores.
I took a practice SAT and ACT:
SAT V: 680
SAT M: 730
ACT:30 (hope to raise these scores on the actual tests)
Extracurrics:
volunteer at hospital
president/founder of Biomedical Science Association
National French Exam/Honors Society
National Honors Society
Honor Roll
Three-sport athlete (track, vb, gymnastics)
Youth Ministry
Talent Development Program
editor-in-chief of bi-monthly pamphlet

I also took AP World History as a sophomore and got a 5 - plan to take AP bio, UShistory, and English Lang this year and Chem, French, Calc BC, English Lit, and Evironment senior year

Is there any other activities I should be doing or classes I should be taking to up my chances at JHU?
Please help!

Are you applying ED?

If I can convince my parents to let me - they’re worried about financial aid, but if I’m going to apply ED at all, it would be to JHU.

ED does not affect your Financial Aid. I have a friend who applied ED to JHU and got way more than half of the cost to attend (Tuition+Board+other expenses). For him, the cost to attend JHU is close to the cost it would take to attend a state university. People should stop believing in the myth that they will reduce the Financial Aid amount when they apply ED.

How much would applying ED affect my chance of getting in?

ED doesn’t increase or decrease your chances. The standards for admission are the same, but ED has higher acceptance rates because a larger number of qualified kids apply.

I think you should work on raising those scores, as they are a bit short of JHU.
