Advice

So here's the dilemia... I applied to quite a few schools: Pepperdine, Stanford, Chapman, Gonzaga, Westmont, Southern Utah University. The school I only really wanted to attend was Pepperdine but I needed to have backups so I applied to the others. I wasn't really sure were to go even when the decision needed to be made. Heres the results...

Pepperdine: Waitlisted
Stanford: Denied
Chapman: Unknown
Gonzaga: Accepted
Westmont: Accepted
Southern Utah University: Accepted

Of course the one school I wanted I got waitlisted. Now Chapman, my backup plan, seems like its not going to happen either. I live in LV so I wanted to stay close to home. Gonzaga is nice but far. Westmont and SUU are not really what I want either. I am so confused what to do??

I thought this process would be easy. I am a straight A student with average test scores and good EC's. I am tired of being told that I am good but not good enough. Any advice on where to go? I am spiraling down a blackhole of depression...

Thanks :)

Why Chapman is unknown? You mean they haven’t given you their decision yet? I think you should call Chapman first and ask if you got in. If you are, then you longer have to worry about this issue. If not, then you can just come back and think about it again.

Chapman is unknown because I have not heard back yet :frowning: I have called and they said in a few weeks. Don’t know if I can wait that long…

You might want to look through this list as a backup. [Late & Rolling Deadline Schools](http://www.petersons.com/ugchannel/code/LateDeadlineSchools.asp)

Westmont is a beautiful school, but very, very expensive!
