My d was accepted as "undeclared". To any of the UCLA attendees --- anybody familiar with advising for undeclared majors entering UCLA? Are students able to get enough guidance before they have a major and can get advising through a specific department? Thanks.

Yeah... i know a bunch of ppl who are undeclared. I would just say have ur d take a bunch of classes the first year to see what she likes then have her pursue it.

GO TO ORIENTATION!!! they will guide her to field that she may be interested. and they will help her pick classes for the first quarter to get her started.
