AEM 2400 vs. NCC 5530 (Johnson School)

Does anyone have experience with the Johnson school equivalent of Marketing? AEM 2400 conflicts with my schedule but I want to get that req squared away as quickly as possible so I don't have to worry about potential course conflicts senior year. Is NCC 5530 more difficult than the AEM version? What sort of students usually take it? (The course description says non-Johnson students only) Any idea where I could get median grade information?

i do not have experience with that course but it might involve tougher case studies?

Are you sure NCC5530 is a valid equivalent for AEM2400? Are you an AEM major? If what you say is true, then I would take NCC5530 too due to a course conflict.

hi irarchiedw!!!

anyway, uhh ive never heard of the johnson school equivalent of the AEM 2400 that only non-johnson students can take… best bet is asking your advisor because every advisor allows and signs off on different things.

hi hilariousimlolin!!! lol

add me on AIM (finally i know…) irarchiedw

and yea I’m asking my advisor about this class

I’m doing an AEM minor. I’ll probably sign up for both classes and then go to ask the office if it’s possible to substitute, but I have heard that it’s been done before, which is why I thought I’d ask.

Alright I’m adding NCC5530 tomorrow. My advisor said it’s a valid substitute, but might be a little harder than AEM2400.

What score do they need in SAT I and SAT II for AEM early decision (marketing). thanks
