Which class for accounting is easier and more engaging, HADM 2230 or AEM 2210? I have heard the AEM class is a lot better, but I'm a freshman and if I want to take accounting next semester I can only take hotel. Should I wait til sophomore year and take it in AEM or just take the Hotel version in the coming spring?

I’m in 2210 right now. It’s not “hard,” just annoying and boring.

Huh I was told AEM was actually the less “annoying” one. Do you think I should go ahead and take it in hotel next semester? It’s just a lot of the electives I want to take have accounting as a pre-req so I thought it would be good take accounting asap.

I’ve heard AEM is the easier one too. So you really have no other option.

I would just wait until next year.

AEM has no work. (:

Are the economics classes hard? Is it easy to beat the mean?

^
Depends on the class of course.

My son is in engineering and is doing the Dyson minor for engineers. He’s sort of blown away by the level of difficulty in the business classes. He likes accounting and is taking AEM 3360, then will do 3370 next semester. Already asked to help tutor. It’s nothing like the engineering curriculum…which is actually pretty nice. Plus, he likes what he’s learning. Good GPA boost.
