African American Studies 27AC or Integrative Bio 35AC?

I'm thinking of taking a class to fulfill the American Cultures requirement, but I don't know which one to take. These are both classes that are "Recommended Classes" from the New Student Services Resource.

Resource: Recommended classes

**AAS 27ac/b
I heard this class is an easy A. There were some pretty good reviews on the website above, but I checked on ratemyprofessors.com and the most recent reviews for Hintzen are terrible. He gives pop midterms and picks on people in class. Most comments also say that he is very boring. More of the older reviews are positive. Could a professor change so much in a year?

**IB 35ac/b
Not as easy of a class, but I heard it's bearable if you study a lot. Most reviews on ratemyprofessors.com said it's all about memorization. The reviews are generally more positive.

Should I go for the "easy" prof or the one with more positive reviews?

I heard that Hintzen gave too many A's so he made the class more difficult so people probably attended lecture and realized how horrible the prof is. I would personally choose the more difficult course over a really bad professor.

A lot of people recommend Music 26AC.

LOL

that "recommended classes" site lists out bio 1b, chem 3a/3b and chem 1a as good classes to take. I don't think many would recommend such competitive weeder classes unless: they're premed/mcb, don't care about grades, or love the subject.
