When colleges tell you to withdraw applications from all other schools, do I actually need to call the schools I’ve already applied to and cancel it? Or just disregard it if an acceptance letter comes?

<p>Hey, I got accepted ED too, and I called UCSD to withdraw my application, and they told me I didn't have to.... I tried explaining the whole situation but they kept saying I didn't need to withdraw my application officially.</p>
