After many gap years, student who started in 2006 graduates in 2022

This is not uncommon. The majority of college students are “non-traditional.” I took a class with a woman with 6 kids who took 17 years to graduate, and cried because it was her last class. People return in their 50’s and even older, too.

It is nice when professional athletes come back to finish their degree. Hopefully they will serve as role models to others by showing the value they place on education (even though they are wealthy from sports earnings). There was a similar story this year with Jerome Bettis going back for a semester at age 49 and graduating from Notre Dame last weekend. Kudos to them all!

Davidson’s 2022 graduate average starting salary is going to be higher than normal

Do they list average or median starting salary?

It’s not uncommon in general….but I don’t think Davidson has too many non-traditional students.

Kudos to this guy for going back and finishing…and at such a great school!
