After you're accepted can you switch majors before the Fall term starts?

The prospects of being a Bio major aren't as appealing to me anymore, so is it possible to switch to a different major as long as I stay in the same school? I'm in CAS.

If you are in the College, you come in undeclared automatically, the major you put on your application is only to show what your interests are. For example, I put down chemistry on my application but I declared physics second semester (you don’t have to declare until sophomore year I was very early.)

What Poeme said.

You matriculate as undecided. Based on the interest major you marked on your application, the College tries to match you with a peer advisor and a pre-major advisor in a related field. You must declare a major by the end of sophomore year, but you can change your major(s) up until you register for graduation.

What about SEAS students?

I don’t know SEAS academics as well, but here’s the information:

For SEAS, you can matriculate with a major or you can come in as Curriculum Deferred.

Thanks, falafel!
