Aggies, do you visit San Francisco a lot

if so, how often?

Considering San Francisco is about two hours away, I would think rarely.

I’m wondering the same thing. UCD is one of my top choices and SF is my favorite city lol.
I heard there’s a shuttle that takes you to Berkeley.
Is it common for UCD students to go to SF during the weekend?

Considering San Francisco is about two hours away, I would think rarely.

^ SF is not 2 hours away. I have traveled from davis to sf and it took me like a little more than an hour.

Really? Must’ve been traffic, or my friend’s dad is a slow driver. I live in the Bay Area and went to Davis once for the tour.

And I searched this on the Davis wiki, and there is a Berkeley shuttle [Transportation - Davis Wiki](http://daviswiki.org/transportation)

I think the ride there and back wouldn’t be like bi-weekly. Depends if you got business there, like a concert/festival.

SF is awesome though. I love walking along the pier!

I don’t really go to SF often, but for my friends who do, and it only takes them about an hour depending on their driving style. How often you go really depends on how much of your money you want to spend on gas.

I do know one girl who actually lives in the Bay Area and takes the Amtrak to school everyday - which is pretty expensive, even with the monthly pass - but that’s because she lives with her parents and it’s cheaper than moving to Davis.

I’m from So Cal and I’ve never gone to SF while I’ve been at Davis. Taking the Berkeley Bus/BART is really inconvenient and costly, and the berkeley bus doesn’t go on weekends.

like AggieGuy, i’m from so cal as well nd i never go to sf

is there a bus up to Tahoe for skiing/snowboarding? thanks!

SF is about 1hr and a half, depending on where in the city you’re going.

Some of the people who live in SF definitely come to visit their home and family.
