<p>So I applied SCEA a couple weeks ago and didn't check my common app account again until today.
I was reviewing the info in the essay section...and then I noticed I'd made a REALLY bad mistake!
I wrote my essay in response to question 1 ("Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you. "). BUT I'd apparently accidentally checked the box for question 2 instead ("Discuss some issue of personal, local, national, or international concern and its importance to you. "). My essay has nothing to do with question 2 and I'm sortof freaking out about how this will affect how they score it/how it will affect my chances of admission.
Is this a big deal? I'm going to email/call them to see if I can change it [although I doubt I'll be able to]...but does anyone think they'll figure out that I just checked the wrong box? ahhh :(</p>
<p>A they are smart enough to figure it out
B you can call\mail them and say that you pick option 2 and not option 1 and that is it</p>
