Aight, how screwed am I?

Three B's first semester of senior year (all IB classes), two second semester of junior, one first semester junior year.

Really just wanna get into UCB, although UCLA is okay I guess? Sent in apps to USC and UCSD as well.

GPA 4.6 UW, ~3.8 W

2270 SAT, National Merit, 800 Math II, 780 lit, 760 US history

Marching band, section leader, district honor band, pep band, a few hundred hours volunteering at one place (with a few awards from the city I live in), employment as freelance graphic designer and as a website artist.

Personal statement was decently solid, talking about my cultural heritage in one and my ability to bring Batman into classroom conversations in another.

Please Shut up

^ Seconded.

I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!!

But seriously, I’m pretty concerned this downward trend’s totally going to kill my chances at Berk and I just really want to get in as it is basically the only school I wanna go to… :(

Best advice you will ever get: Get off this website and go live your life. You have good chances for berkeley, and you have done your best, nothing will change that. Life’s too short to worry about such trivial things

a downward trend would be all Bs or 5 Bs in non-IB courses. You have a 4.6W. Quit fishing for compliments.

I’m sorry dude but we are all under a lot of stress. There are no guarantees. So when you make a title “How screwed am I?”, and then have a 4.6W, no one is going to shower you with reassurances.

I don’t think your UCGPA is 4.6 unless uncapped.

UCLA: Match
Berkeley: Match
UCSD: Low match
USC: Match

Even though I think you’ll get into at least one of the four, do you have a safety?

you’re fine
actually
can i be you

First of all, your senior grades are only of concern for USC, if they so request it.
Secondly, you have not soiled your chances at these prestigious schools. Your SAT score is far higher than the 75% at Berkeley, and a bit higher for USC’s ( assuming that is both your single sitting AND superscore). You’ll do fine.

Community college is in your future.
