Well if the information I read was correct, there is Wi-Fi almost everywhere around Campus - Indoors. In the dorms, you’ll most likely use Ethernet but might still have access to Wi-Fi.

<a href=“Wireless Services”>Wireless Services;
http://its.ucsc.edu/service_catalog/cruznet/maps/

Basically there is Cruznet, Cruznet Secure, and Resnet. Cruznet is unsecured but is around Campus. Cruznet Secure is secured but not in every building. Resnet is for Residential Network so that’s like in Apartments and Residential Halls.

Some Colleges might not have AC because they don’t need it. The wind is either/both cold enough or strong enough so all you have to do is open a window.

you get wifi almost anywhere on campus. but my friend that lives at crown had really bad wifi connection.
i dont think there is any AC on campus at all. the only time you might need it is in the beginning of the school year for a week or two. but it gets pretty cool after that.

Crown is definitely a bit spotty. Our dorms are all L-shaped, so the rooms at the far ends often don’t get wifi.
