Airlines!

I know this is sort of random, but I just wanted to create this thread lol.

What are your guys' favorite airlines? Have you had any cool/weird/interesting/horrid airline stories or experiences? Do you downright hate any airlines?

Domestically, I like flying Southwest for short flights to SoCal and United for longer domestic flights. Singapore Airlines is my favorite international airline.

Singapore
Malaysia

I haven’t gone on a domestic flight in over 10 years.

I haven’t been on a flight since before 9/11.

When I was six or seven, I was landing in Israel or Jordan or Egypt… anyways… It was a really, really, really hard landing. So hard that the oxygen masks fell down in the middle row.

But I remember not the airline. It might have been like Jordanian airlines or something.

Continental (which will soon be United) is my favorite airline, always. Other than that, I’ll fly anything - except I recently had a bad experience with Alitalia, and I have vowed never to fly US Airways again.

Air France rocks! So does Qatar Airways. I think I had a bad experience once with Air Europa, but I’m not sure…, if I had it was a long time ago…

US Airways sucks. Hard.

Frontier and United are great. I don’t like Delta but will probably have to fly them a lot for the next few years (see my location…)

Mom works for Delta so I fly that A LOT! Other than Delta, I loved Northwest Airlines when it still existed, and KLM has really great service too.

I don’t like United.

I fly mostly that and Southwest, though. Southwest is pretty decent, and I like that you get to pick your own seat.

U.S. Air is THE WORST airline I’ve ever flown.

Continental is fine unless your on a little express jet. I fly that or Airtran a lot which is fine.

American Airlines

United cancels if there’s like a 5mph breeze. Seriously.

I personally like Southwest for the primary reasons that they 1) don’t charge you for changing your flight (unless the fare is higher, but no $100 change fee) and 2) they don’t charge you extra when checking 2 bags.

Southwest is the best! There’s no cancellation fee and you can easily change your flights at any time. You can also have 2 luggage free of charge (unlike other airlines that charge for the second luggage). Although the leg room for Southwest is less than the legg room for other airlines, its cheap costs make up for it. Southwest consistently has the cheapest flights! Also the new reward system is awesome. =) Every time you fly you earn at least 1200 points and you only 12000 to get a free flight. There’s so much flexibility with Southwest.

Lol I feel like I’m one of Southwest’s ad person now… anyways I love southwest

Singapore Airlines is hands-down my favorite international airline. The planes themselves are great and the service is amazing. The flight attendants are incredibly nice.
I haven’t been on a domestic flight in ages, but I did like America West when I used to fly with them. Really nice flight attendants. They let us fly in first class once, and the food was amaaazing. But this was like 5 years ago, so…
