albino squirrels?! womb chairs?!

so, on the supplement to oberlin it says to rank certain important factors when choosing a college. most of the choices they give you are fairly normal: academic reputation, the arts, community service, size, etc.

however, two of the options are albino squirrels and womb chairs... why is oberlin messing with my head? am i missing something here?

I was wondering whether or not they wanted people to actually pick those, but I didn’t because I couldn’t really say that I wanted Oberlin for the womb chairs and not for the people and academics.

If you don’t know what they are, well the womb chairs are AMAZING and they’re in the library. They’re the coolest and coziest chairs and they’re womb shape. I think the albino squirrel is sort of the mascot and they are found all over campus.

I thought it was funny that they had those as options.

Just remember, never try to study in a womb chair :)

womb chairs = blissful napping spot with view of library exterior = excellent people watching, when you see that “incredible edible egg” commercial where the person sits in that egg shaped chair, that is it. Never saw an albino squirrel myself.

Personally I would mark both a s affirmative…
As long as the womb chairs are white and you can sit on the squirrels

Tappan Square is home to several albino squirrels. One OB club sports team is also named after them.

Our daughter auditioned at the conservatory last week, and one of the albino squirrels stopped by at the door…they’re darned cute.

I ranked womb chairs and albino squirrels the highest (along with academics) on the supplement last year. I am now a very happy member of the class of 2014.
