<p>Is there any penalty if I do not have a final ALEKS score at least two weeks before orientation? I will finish it by the time orientation but I don't think I can finish it two weeks before.</p>

<p>On their fb page it says that it’s not a big deal as long as you get it done. Did you figure out your housing?!</p>

<p>Thanks for the info! Phwew, you just made my day! I’ve been sitting at the computer for like 5 hours straight! What a relieve now I can relax a bit and calm down. I probably finish it by the end of next week at the latest if not earlier. I have forgotten like everything mathematic so I have to go over the review.
Yes, I will be living in one of the freshman apartments, a great disappointment if you ask me since I have to drag my bed up there. But I wouldn’t complaint much because apparently there are a bunch of people on housing wait-list.</p>

<p>Yeah, I feel bad for the international students that didn’t get housing and stuff. Are you going to the orientation session this sunday? But yeah I’m not too strong in math, I just took the test and used my first score. I heard that calc is crazy hard. Also if you have a face book you should join the class of 2015 page for utd, it’s gives a bunch of answers and they have otms to answer our questions</p>

<p>random fact: back in the day, aleks was suppose to be part of our final grade (5%ish), but everyone did terrible so it became extra credit if i remember correctly.</p>

<p>that was for calc 1. this was for when i took calc 3 years ago. does NOT apply to the classes anymore!!!</p>

<p>@Pinkperson20: What do you mean by saying “I feel bad for the international students that didn’t get housing and stuff”? Did you have any new information from the orientation day? I’m an international student on waiting list and now are feeling worried as hell.</p>

<p>What I meant by that, is I have talked to some people from different countries that have no idea what to do if they dont get housing, seeing as they are not familiar with the area and stuff, but I heard that they are going to start mailing stuff to people that were wait listed soon and let them know if they got any housing</p>
