all APS in senior year?

I read that there's a requirement of at least 3 APs to get into the ivy league and competetive schools. What if i'm taking one AP junior year and more than 3 during senior year? Colelges will not see my score by then, am i still eligible to getin?

thats not true

unless u are an underachiever where ur school offers a lot of AP's..

depends on the school u go to

thats an untrue statement. theres no such requirement

ask yourself from an Ivy league school: Why would I admit a student who hasnt taken a single AP class when I have other applicants who have taken tons?

so pretty much it is a requirement, but there's no such written requirement.

It's as bigweight says.

If you've taken a heavy schedule for YOUR school, then yes. If not, then no.

You know how many school's have under their admissions criteria that they want to see that you've taken advantage of all the oppurtunities at your school?

As long as you've taken the hardest courseload, and have exhausted the AP curriculm, you'll be fine.

it def depends on the school you go to
adcoms are aware of your indiv school situation and i've heard of schools only offering 2 APs before, but students still getting into HYPS

xolala, it definitely works regardless your scores on the APs.
colleges will at least consider your "progressive mind". lol
here is a bit personal experience to share:
sophomore year: no APs, and several CP classes.
junior year: 6 APs, 4 5s and 2 4s.
senior year: 7 APs and 4 at harvard extension -- hope i can kick ***.

it really does depend on your school
i think we offer 19? but you can only really take 9 or 10...and that's if you REALLY stretch things, skip prereqs, etc.

other schools, its relatively easier (school beauracracy wise) to take 14-16+

while other schools don't offer any...but of course in those cases you really ought to do something at local college or something to show your self-challenge motiviation
