<p>Yeah I'm definitely in need of a miracle or two. My stats are nothing close to special unfortunately and I'm going for some big schools...</p>

<p>Caucasian Male
Virginia
Public High School</p>

<p>UW GPA: 3.7
W GPA: 4.2
Rank: I don't know what number I'm Top 10% </p>

<p>Full IB Diploma Candidate</p>

<p>SAT I: 2090 (CR-750, M-650, W-690)
SAT II's: World History - 770 (Gonna take more in october)</p>

<p>ECs:
President of Latin Club
Varsity Rifle Team grades 9-12. Captain 11-12
School's It's Academic Team (I was on the TV show last year if that matters at all)
NHS
Hundreds of hours of community service (For IB diploma)</p>

<p>Major: Classics/Classical Studies</p>

<p>Schools:
UPenn (I know...)
Haverford (ED quite possibly)
UVA
UMich -Ann Arbor
UNC - Chapel Hill
William and Mary
Virginia Tech
University of Hawaii - Manoa</p>

<p>Any other schools I should consider?
Do I have any chance at all?</p>

<p>I think you have pretty good chances at Haverford ED. UPenn would be a reach though unless you get your SAT to a 2200+.</p>

<p>Try to get your math sat score up if you can. </p>

<p>UPenn (I know…) - yeah, big reach.
Haverford (ED quite possibly) - I think ed its a high match. Otherwise its a small reach.
UVA - match
UMich -Ann Arbor - high match (oos)
UNC - Chapel Hill - small reach (really hard to get into oos)<br>
William and Mary - match
Virginia Tech - in
University of Hawaii - Manoa - In</p>

UPenn - big reach, still you never know.
Haverford (ED quite possibly) - ed, you have a really good shot, otherwise its probably a small reach
UVA - match
UMich -Ann Arbor - high match - I don’t think your in here, out of state its gettin much harder.
UNC - Chapel Hill - reach. Out of state is as hard as an ivy school,
William and Mary - match
Virginia Tech - in
University of Hawaii - Manoa - In</p>

<p>Idk what schools to recommend, i was gonna say Davidson, but somebody already said that. Maybe Vassar if you like Haverford. </p>

<p>i think you GPA is great since your an IB Diploma Candidate. </p>

<p>i don’t know how rigorous it is at your school, but i’m a diploma candidate and it’s really killing my GPA. our valedictorian has a 3.7 UW i think. </p>

<p>you have a shot at UPenn judging form my experience of classmates who have gotten in. it’s a reach, but it’s definitely a possibility.</p>

<p>W&M is statistically harder than UVirginia for admittance. Smaller school, lower admit ratio, higher test scores. Also, not as numbers driven so they have been known to surprise people, good and bad.</p>

<p>Yeah, W&M is pretty unpredictable. I know some people who didn’t get in this year with awesome stats and others with lower GPAs/SATs who were accepted. I’m guessing the essay + ECs are really important there?</p>
