Hey does anyone know as to why ALL the majors for UCB transfers are closed?

may be you saw the winter/spring part!

nope....i had to choose my major in step 2 of the application for Fall 2008. all majors were closed for both UCLA and UCB

yep, they're full --no more new applicants.

are you sure?

He is lying don't listen to him...

@torrancecali - dude are you for real? im not lyin - im ASKING! because my app as well as the UCB website shows it to be closed for ALL majors for UCB for sophomore standing. i.e. <60 credits not allowed!

Um yes, all majors are closed for sophomore transfers. You must have at least 60 semester units (and thus you'd be applying for junior standing).

OMG~hello? im talking about junior transfer here!

dude...come on you dont even know what year your applying for?

if you have less than 60 units its ok, you still apply for JUNIOR LEVEL TRANSFER if you will have at least 60 transferable units BY THE END OF THIS SPRING. assuming you are applying for fall 08.

"yep, they're full --no more new applicants."

as much as I knew that was false, it still made my heart skip a beat hahaha.

Apparently sarcasm doesn't translate well through the internet.

Martha has 15 units completed by the time she submitted her UC application in November. By the end of Spring before she transfer she plans to complete total 60 transferable units, and it was noted in the application.

Million Dollar Question: Is Martha considered a sophomore or a junior transfer?

I'm more interested in finding out how Martha is going to complete 45 units in two semesters.

She would be a junior transfer.

FCY, thanks for your input on the rhetorical question.

You're welcome. ;)

lol FCY.

hey that question is a good question, not rhetorical.

she will be a junior right? lol
