Hi everyone, anxious Mom here. My son applied to great engineering schools (lots of top 20s) and I found out a poor SAT Math II Subject test (630 in Soring 2017) was accidentally sent to most of these schools. He took it again this Fall (2018) and got an 800. How much will this hurt his admission odds?
He is fine, they saw he got a better score. That is all that matters. If his grades are just as good the admissions officers most likely just thought he had an off day
Plus he had another year and a half to learn more math, so a higher score should be expected.
