<p>Hey Tulane Transfers!</p>

<p>I'm a current junior at Tulane (econ major from Dallas) and just wanted to leave a post in this thread. I'm a member of the Orientation Planning Team for '07 and will be specifically working on transfer/commuter student orientation. I am so glad to see so many of you inquiring about Tulane in this thread! </p>

<p>I will be in New Orleans for the bulk of the summer assisting in the planning of Orientation events for you and the freshman. The Transfer Orientation schedule won't be exactly the same as freshman Orientation and we are working on events that will cater more to your needs. I will continue to provide updates in this thread as more of the events are developed as it is still pretty early. </p>

That's awesome they give us housing in the dorms, should be a lot easier to adjust than I expected.</p>

<p>yea i remember reading in another thread that transfers usually end up in irby or....forget the other place....but yea so i wonder if thats a pretty set thing or is it more random, like with transfers basically scattered throughout softmore housing?</p>

<p>Are transfer students required to get the Carte Blanche Meal Plans or can we just get Greenbucks or something?</p>
