<p>These are the last two colleges that my DS has not heard from, has anyone heard from Allegheny or Juniata? Both had called him in December and we were under the impression letters were being mailed out the first part of January. Does anyone have any other info?</p>
<p>My son got a phone call from Juniata just this past week - that he was accepted - early admission. The next day we received a package in the mail with his scholarship information.</p>
<p>I have meant to reply to this but DS found a lump and it turn out to be a soft cell tumor and then he had to have surgery Friday. The doc believes it is benign but it certainly but any thoughts of college on the back burner. In the midst of all of this he got no phone call but he did get his acceptance and a very nice scholarship to Juniata. Then something really funny happened last night - we were talking about Juniata and Allegheny, wondering about when Allegheny will send out letters etc. The phone rings with a call I say, "that's them now." I swear it is Meadville, PA (where Allegheny is located) but it is Hendrix College on the phone. How strange is that. I felt like I was the one on the pain meds.....</p>
<p>Allegheny college just sent me a letter wanting my 20 week grades, but that's all I've heard from them.</p>
<p>Still waiting to hear from Allegheny. Son did call last week to make sure they had everything.</p>
