How is the allergy season at SD? Is there a lot of pollen there?

why wouldn't there be?

it's a big city.

There can be a lot of pollen in the SD area because everything grows here and the growing season is year-round. The good news is that UCSD is right on the coast and the prevailing winds come in from the ocean so that air is pretty clean.

yay. i dont like allergy attacks. not fun.

Yeah... allergry symptons are supposed to be less annoying in beachy areas. My mom's allergies improved when we moved to a more coastal area

well, small towns have allergies too. (in reference to my previous post)

when i go to santa cruz my allergies get worse.... i hope it's not the same in sd. =[

uhh allergies don't depend on whether it's a "big" or "small" city. i'm from the bay area and i normally have really bad allergies around april and may, but so far down here, i've barely had any problems, which is normally the case in a mild climate like that of san diego

duhhhhhhhhhhh.

Sweet Lincoln's mullet. I live in San Jose (which comprises about one-third of the incoming Triton freshmen) and my allergies have been terrible this year.

I haven't had many problems with allergies this year...and I've usually been a terrible mess with them back home in Maryland.

:)

my allergies have NEVEr been this bad. this year they are bad enough for me to complain. they never have been before.

yeah, particularly bad last year and this year
