Alliance of the (slightly) average students

i am REVIVING THIS THREAD.

3.49 *****ezzz..with ap + hon?

I say that's good! Of course it's up to socalscott. Wherever that kid is!

Oh i'm here, just chillin. And i'm sorry but the rules clearly state no ap's/honors (unless I decide to break my own rule)
Mwhaha.

heh
3.5 UW GPA.... barely ahah. In all honors/AP though :(

There's approximately 750 kids in my grade alone, and I'd say that a good 10% are top 50 national university material. Out of that 10%, Im probably in the bottom tier, 80th in the class at most.
But hey man, my school is very competitive.
Not to mention that I have minimal volunteer hours, which i personally think is overrated, but whenever someone interrupts to say they have over 150 hours, I just kind of shy away from the conversation heh.

I do have a 2150 SAT score though, possibly the only factor that may exclude me from this highly sought membership to such a prestigious and rare organization on CC.

^
Well, I personally think volunteer hours are worthless unless you're doing something that you LOVE and ENJOY...not just to rack up hours..which too many people do..

i am extremely average, especially compared to most of what i see on here.
my school doesn't use the 4.0 scale, so my transcript says my gpa is an 88.9/100, so i think that translates to a 3.3, 3.4, 3.5...somewhere in that general range isn't it?
no honors or aps whatsoever for my first three years.

Yeah, its about a 3.5 I think

Oh, yeah, you let me in because of my SAT score.
cuz i have ap/honors. and 3.61 gpa at the moment. hahah

And me? I have around a 3.5 GPA with a mix of honors courses (mainly in English and social studies).

i scored 60 points higher on the SATs than when i took them in 8th grade, doesnt that count for anything? (im a junior now)

Hmm, lets see.

1790 SAT
3.65 GPA
Took two AP classes. Failed one exam (APUSH) and didn't take the other (Stats)
Took two dual-enrollment classes

I'll be attending an in-state University

Am I allowed in?

I'm very average

3.0 weighted GPA
1850 SATs
