I was just wondering if anyone here has heard stuff about "Allure Group Marketing" formerly known as Neilson Enterprises. I had an interview scheduled, but quickly declined after a Google search and found out it's a scam. I then sent the recruiter a nasty email giving her a piece of my mind for trying to stiff me into a BS position like this. You basically just solicit random businesses and try to sell Verizon Fios. My college campus is already littered with sh*t from Vector, Vemma, College Works, and other multilevel marketing jobs that are barely legal so we don't need Allure Group too.It seems like this place will hire anyone with a pulse because I got an almost instant auto reply when I submitted my resume at 7:45 at night. Granted, I should have read up a little more on my own before, but I'm about to graduate so I'm applying to tons of places. Unfortunately, there only seems to be a few articles out there about Allure Group which might have had to do with the name change so I really just wanted to create a buzz and let others know that this is a scam so no one else gets naively sucked into this. I want to make it more apparent that this place is no different from Vector or Vemma. Their website is idiotic and says absolutely nothing about what the jobs. The job is ACTUALLY you working for 100% commission, you signing a 1099 form so they virtually aren't liable for anything you do other than leeching off of you, and you driving around in a van and selling Verizon FIOS to random businesses all day. Avoid at all costs.
