Alphabetical order for decision emails?

<p>Does Harvard send out the decision emails in alphabetical order or some other order that they pulled out of their ass?</p>

<p>Let's make sure we understand something. A home SMTP server can send out at least 20 mails per minute. How many kids are applying to harvard EA? 3,000? I'll round to 4000 to be safe. Harvard's mail server can at least dish out 150 mails per minute, the rate of most small companies. So maybe, MAYBE you might get your e-mail a maximum 27 minutes late. To be more realistic, it can probably send 1000 e-mails per minute. So 4 minutes late. Jesus.</p>
