Alumni interview

So I have my interview this Wednesday, and I was wondering if anyone could clue me in on what questions to expect. Also, it's at a Starbucks, so what sort of clothes should I wear? Thanks in advance!

Mine is on Monday and it’s in a doctor’s office. Any tips on what I should wear?

I had my interview on the 14th, so maybe I could help! I met my interviewer at a coffee shop too, and I just wore a nice sweater and khaki pants (depends on if you’re a guy or girl too) - I would say wear something midway between casual and formal. On the phone my interviewer even joked that he’d be in a suit after coming from work, but that I didn’t have to dress up.

As for questions, he mostly asked about what I’ve been involved in throughout high school, like clubs, athletics, etc. Then he asked me about my senior year courses, and he specifically asked about foreign language - so either that’s very important to them, or maybe it was just something he was curious about. Also he asked about work experience that I had and about social life as well (which was somewhat of an awkward question to answer). None of the questions were so outrageous that I wasn’t able to answer them, I generally just tried to twist them into being about myself/my accomplishments if they were more abstract questions. A majority of his questions were actually really similar to the types of questions you’d find on the application supplement.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
