Does Wake offer off-campus alumni interviews? Because I really like the school and I really would like to attend; however, I live in NJ and my parents basically said there is no way that we are going to be able to get down there to the campus for an on-campus interview/visit. I know the interview is very important, especially with their SAT-optional policy...And I would really like to have an interview to increase my chances of getting accepted...

So do they offer alumni interviews (I looked around the website but didn't really find anything, unless I missed it...)

Call the admissions office and ask what they recommend in your case. I suggest calling rather than emailing, since I found them very helpful on the phone (and sometimes too terse on email). There was something on the website, or in one of the press releases about dropping the SAT, that mentioned they would probably be trying new ways to do interviews, such as with video calls and so on. I can imagine in this transition period they're going to be flexible. I doubt that the lack of an interview will hurt your chances.

I heard something about them doing skype interviews (not sure if it would be talking or typing though)...so they may have decided that it's too difficult to interview everyone from across the country and that it'd be easier with skype (although it's not as personal)...but im not sure if this is true or not.

wow.....on virtual interviews. i wonder how they're gonna set it up...are they gonna make an online accout for like a chat room or are they using isight cameras or something...?
